Have you ever moved into a new space - home, apartment, office - and "knew" you were uncomfortable? Beyond new paint, carpet, and cosmetic changes, sometimes it's simply not enough to make the place your own.
Space clearings have been practiced over the centuries in a variety of Eastern and Western spiritual traditions, including New Year and marriage customs throughout the world.
Think about it. Each room of our home or office holds the memories of all that has gone before - good, bad or indifferent. When furnishings and appliances are placed in the same location as the previous occupants', you are automatically tapping into their frequencies. Sometimes these vibrations have lessened in intensity, and sometimes they have not.
Disturbances in home and office energetics includes the deluge of magnetic frequencies generated from appliances, televisions, computers, cell phones, wall sockets and lighting fixtures - to name a few. Frequent headaches, muscle and joint pain, and in rare instances physical illness can manifest as a result of bombarding ourselves with these unnatural frequencies.
Perhaps our own lives impact on our space. Do we bring our job home with us? Are family relations difficult? Is someone ill? Do we worry excessively? Are these our personal habits, or do they intensify when we are at home?
Another interesting scenario is new construction. No matter how beautiful and fresh, you can't shake the feeling of your home not feeling quite right. Perhaps the energetics of the land need to be addressed. Sometimes we transport our old vibrational patterns from a former office or home to our new space, despite our desire for a new start.
Home and office energy clearings can help tremendously. Once I have identified pockets of stagnant chi, the impact can be greatly reduced through a process which may includes prayer, meditation, toning, and application of appropriate "tools" for healing. Each case is unique. The transformation may range from an overall tranquility to a measurable positive shift in the physical wellbeing and interpersonal dynamics of the occupants.
